We are a premium, health food brand brought to life by a Michelin-starred-background chef with a passion for wowing. We believe that happiness comes from the natural foods we nourish our bodies with—but also: from mind-blowing, foodie-swooning, flavors that we can effortlessly add to give a chef-upgrade to everything.  

 

Our range of sauces are 100% natural, fully plant-powered, perfect for all diets, and made with love in small batches in our facility in Long Island. We made sure each jar is loaded with superfoods, minerals, and health-protecting antioxidants to UP your health, UP your happiness, and UP your indulgence time with your near & dear ones.

 

OUR STORY

A JAR TO THE RESCUE, POST-PANDEMIC

We’ve always been big foodies—whipping up crowd-wowing sauces for friends & experimenting away with them. It was really during the pandemic that our Sauce Up gears started churning. It was such an uncertain, scary time for everyone—and we saw how health became a priority for many of us. 

 

Our thought: Why didn’t we bring to the market sauces that we knew would stun taste buds, but pack them with super clean, immunity-boosting ingredients that would actually care for everyone (while making meals-at-home so easily delicious)? Experiments, chef flavor mastering, and very willing testers later—that’s when Sauce Up happened. 

THE FOUNDERS

With a decades+ background working as a chef at the likes of Gordon Ramsay, various Mario Batali restaurants, and Eleven Madison Park, David’s always had a serious food passion. Growing up surrounded by Asian culture—how couldn’t he inherit a love for chili & roasted nuts? (Hello, Chili-Crisp, Nut Crunch). But it was while working in Argentia that he became obsessed with a sublimely fresh, bursting with flavor sauce (aka, the Chimi-Green). 

Chef David’s wife, Priscilla, also happened to be the perfect business partner. With a background as an NYC specialty food purchasing buyer, she’s the one reaching out, running test trials, marketing & Sauce Up educating. The couple are city dwellers, pup-parents (Mocha & Lucky <3), and love everything from art to dance, music, biking, yoga, and of course—delighting people with super nutritious sauces for a flavor revolution.
